Practices for physical and emotional health
Roaring Fork Insight offers meditation instruction in the Buddhist practice of vipassana (insight) and secular mindfulness classes, workshops, and nature retreats for individuals and groups.
- The Monday Night Meditation Group offers instruction in the Buddhist practice of Insight Meditation (Vipassana) and serves as an introduction to the practices of awareness and compassion that are at the heart of the teachings. Appropriate for beginning and experienced students.
The group is guided in the practice of cultivating mindfulness and an attitude of loving-kindness through meditation and the felt senses of the body. This practice fosters emotional and relational intelligence which leads to greater focus and the ability to take a respite from the inevitable difficulties and pace of daily life.
