Cultivate deep peace, presence and aliveness. Qigong is an accessible moving meditation (like Tai Chi), that soothes the nervous system, and clears the energetic body, leaving you open, calm and receptive. It is an ideal complement to Insight meditation; the practice of developing clear-seeing through mindfulness meditation and grounding in the felt senses of the body.
This daylong retreat will include sitting, walking and eating meditations, qigong, dharma talks and discussion. These practices reduce stress, increase our ability to stay present and open-hearted in all conditions, and access the wisdom and joy of our true nature.
Appropriate for beginning and experienced students.
Suggested Donation: $60-100 sliding scale. No one turned away for lack of funds. Please bring a bag lunch.
